Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the datateam.com.br website (and other domains operated by DataTeam), hereinafter "DataTeam". For questions about the formal identification of the company responsible for data processing, please contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

2. What data we collect through the site

DataTeam only collects the data necessary to operate the business relationship, never data from the client's environment or operations:

  • Contact data: name, email, phone and company, when you fill out a form, book a call, or reach out to us.
  • Scheduling data: information provided when booking a call through our scheduling tool (e.g. Calendly).
  • Browsing data: basic technical usage information (pages visited, traffic source), collected via cookies and analytics tools, where applicable.
  • Contract and billing data: company name, tax ID, address and billing details, once you become a client.

What we do not collect or store through the site: data from your technical environment, databases, systems, or any business information belonging to your company. That only happens, in a controlled way, in the context of a contracted project, and is governed by the data protection clauses of the service agreement, not by this policy.

3. What we use this data for

  • Responding to your inquiry and scheduling calls.
  • Preparing proposals and formalizing contracts.
  • Issuing invoices and meeting tax and contractual obligations.
  • Sending communications related to the business relationship (we never share or sell your data to third parties for their own marketing purposes).
  • Improving the site, when browsing/analytics data is used in aggregate.

4. Legal basis (LGPD / GDPR)

We process this data based on: (i) contract execution or pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject (e.g. preparing a proposal), (ii) legitimate interest in maintaining a business relationship, and (iii) compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation (e.g. tax records).

5. Sharing with third parties

We may share contact/contract data with service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. scheduling tool, email platform, accounting), always limited to what's strictly necessary to run the business. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

6. Cookies

The site uses local storage (localStorage) to remember your language and region preference — this is not a tracking cookie and is not shared with third parties. When you visit the site, a banner lets you accept, reject, or customize optional scheduling, analytics, and marketing cookies. We currently don't use Google Analytics or other third-party tracking tools; if that changes, this section will be updated.

7. Retention

We keep contact and contractual data for as long as necessary for the business relationship and, after it ends, for the period required by applicable tax and civil law (typically up to 5 years under Brazilian legal requirements, or as required in your jurisdiction). Browsing/cookie data is kept for a shorter period, depending on the tool used.

8. Your rights

Under LGPD (and, where applicable, GDPR), you may request at any time: confirmation of processing, access, correction, portability, deletion, or information about who we share your data with. To exercise these rights, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

9. Project data (scope note)

This policy does not apply to data accessed in the course of executing a contracted project. In those cases, DataTeam works exclusively within the client's own environment, through access granted and revoked by the client, without retaining copies beyond what's strictly necessary to perform the service. The specific terms of that processing are set out in the service agreement signed with each client.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.

11. Contact

Questions about this policy or about how your data is handled can be sent to [CONTACT EMAIL].
